Why We Give

Glad Tidings is a self-sustained church family. We don’t rely on denominational funding—so every gift matters. Your giving helps us share God’s love and truth, care for our facilities, sustain pastoral ministry, and support discipleship, kids and youth, community outreach, and our digital presence.

Ways to Give

Interac e-Transfer

Fastest and lowest-cost for most donors.

Payee email: gladtidingscogegiving@gmail.com

  • Important: Use the email above as the payee; do not use the church name (some banks may reject it).
  • We have auto-deposit enabled; once you complete the transfer, funds go directly to the church’s account.
  • After you give, email our bookkeeper at gladtidingsbookkeeper@gmail.com with your full name and mailing address so we can issue a tax receipt.

Note: Your bank may charge a small service fee for e-Transfers.

Online (PayPal / Card)

Give with PayPal, credit/debit, or bank transfer through PayPal.

Donate with PayPal
  • After you donate, please email gladtidingsbookkeeper@gmail.com with your full name and mailing address for receipting.
  • Online transactions may result in higher operational costs for the church.

Cash or Cheque

  • Use offering envelopes during Sunday services. Regular givers can request boxed envelopes (numbered and pre-dated). Unmarked envelopes are available in the pews.
  • Mail a cheque payable to Glad Tidings Church of God to:

After You Give

To help us reconcile donations and issue tax receipts, please email our bookkeeper with:

  • Full name
  • Mailing address
  • Amount, method (e-Transfer / PayPal / Cheque), and date
  • Any notes or designations

  • In some systems you may see “Church of God at Fonthill, Ontario.” This refers to Glad Tidings Church of God.
